This week was kind of a toss-up since the topic was a little less thought-provoking. But, Goodwin, the video you posted HAS to be rewarded. I’d seen it before, but didn’t remember it being THAT amazing. I wish I could edit videos like that. It reminded me of this other HILARIOUS video:
Thanks to everyone else that commented! Doug, I agree, the “yes we can” video shone a positive light on the power of YouTube. Elliott, as a big fan of reggae I’ve always liked Wyclef, and, “If I was president” is a dope song. If anyone else sang those lyrics they would probably sound cheesy, but Wyclef makes it sound authentic. Sammy, I loved the Dave Stewart song, though, for the first half it came off as almost mocking the “yes we can” song (I laughed…). It’s weird that the song didn’t get more attention. Dave, I’m not a huge fan of John Legend, but you’re right, he’s awsome in that video—especially when he does that amazing little riff at the end. And nice Tupac reference, can those words be any more relevant today!? ”Let’s change the way we eat, let’s change the way we live, and lets change the way we treat each other.
