I still can’t believe CNN pulled out its new hologram technology on election day. Apparently it requires 35 Hi-Def cameras… I’m sure this type of thing will be commonly used soon but I couldn’t help but laugh when I first saw it. It’s like Star Wars… except NEWS. What’s next? Is Wolf Blitzer gonna shoot the Situation Room from his bedroom?

SNL did a skit on Weekend Update where Fred Armisen had the gigantic map and played around with it.My roommates and I watched it like a week before the election took place. When we watched CNN play with their big map all we could think of was this skit. It’s hilarious!
